LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST &
FOUNDER
Michelle C. Taveras, PsyD, MSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where I began specializing in children and adolescents before shifting my focus to working with adults 18 and older. My clinical work centers on supporting survivors of domestic violence and helping clients understand how past experiences influence present challenges, as I believe insight is key to meaningful change. I take a collaborative, thoughtful approach, helping each individual reach their fullest potential. I am also committed to mentorship and am expanding my practice to include masters and doctoral-level clinicians while developing training and supervision opportunities for future professionals. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and, outside of work, enjoy reading, spending time with loved ones, and being with my mini Labradoodle, Storm, who is part of the practice.
LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
Jessica Pitts, LMHC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change by providing a safe, nonjudgmental space grounded in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness, with each treatment plan tailored to meet your unique needs and goals. I believe healing begins with connection and strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, openness, and shared growth. I specialize in working with adults (18+) navigating substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, bringing experience from both inpatient and outpatient settings. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University and have extensive experience supporting professionals and survivors of domestic violence through a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.
LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR &
CERTIFIED PUBLIC SCHOOL COUNSELOR
Lisa Mason, LMHC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Public School Counselor with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan in both educational and community mental health settings. For two decades, I worked as a school counselor and school-based therapist, helping students navigate academic stress, social challenges, emotional concerns, and developmental transitions. I have also supported individuals of all ages in community mental health settings with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I now bring this experience to private practice, where my approach is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered, recognizing that therapy is a deeply personal and individualized journey. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University, a Bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University, and have completed additional clinical training through Capella University.
NATIONALLY CERTIFIED COUNSELOR
EMDRIA-APPROVED EMDR THERAPIST
LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
Vicki Glabb, LMHC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and EMDRIA-Approved EMDR therapist with over 20 years of experience working with individuals aged 16 and older across diverse clinical settings. My approach is eclectic and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength-based interventions, and trauma-focused therapies, with care tailored to each person’s unique needs and experiences. I specialize in helping clients address deeply rooted negative beliefs shaped by past experiences that often contribute to anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms. A primary tool in my work is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which supports the brain’s natural healing process and is available both in person and via telehealth. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients, especially those recovering from abuse, narcissistic relationships, or divorce, feel heard, understood, and empowered, and I hold a Master’s degree from Slippery Rock University, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

CHIEF COMFORT OFFICER
CANINE HEALER
BELOVED TEAM MEMBER
Storm
I am Storm, a mini Labradoodle and proud member of the team at M. Taveras, PsyD & Company Psychological Services, where I serve as the Chief Comfort Officer. My role is to bring warmth, calm, and connection to everyone who walks through the door; something I take seriously, with a few naps in between. I have a natural ability to sense emotions and offer support, whether by quietly sitting beside you or greeting you with a gentle, friendly presence. I’m known for my big heart, calming energy, and therapeutic cuddles, all of which help create a safe and soothing environment. When I’m not working, I enjoy chasing lizards, relaxing in the sun, and spending time with my favorite people, my family.
